Prayer in agreement with another person is powerful. The Lord says where two are gathered in His name, He is there and He hears.
20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
Matthew 18:20 (NIV)
Why is it so hard for men to admit to struggling with sin or ask for prayer?
Are we afraid the world will think we are weak?
Jesus told men to confess their sins to one another, prayed with His disciples regularly and reminded us that our strength comes only through Him. In our gatherings, we learn to put our sensitivities and fears aside and then share and pray with brothers in Christ. We develop relationships, true friendships, accountability, and work to become the priests and leaders that our God has made us to be. There is no doubt a man's role is vital in the health and development of his home and family.
We need the fellowship of the body of Christ to grow into our full potential.
Our Men's group alone has raised more than $25,000.00 to missions!
Finally, our Men's group helps staff our Motorsports and Clothing Outreach Ministries.
Come and join us IN THE LAG GODSPEED CAFE (in the church) for our fun Men's Ministry meetings.
